Welcome to the Class of 1974 Alumni
The Reunion Committee and I are pleased to welcome our 1974 classmates to join us for the upcoming fall 40th anniversary celebration during the fourth weekend of October. It is hard to believe it has been 40 years since we graduated from Gallaudet. We are excited to plan our second celebration in 2014 and to see some of you again. Mark your calendars for Thursday, October 23 - Sunday, October 26, 2014.

The reunion planning committee has been busy preparing for the Fall Class of
1974 40th Anniversary Reunion. This traditional homecoming occasion is another
opportunity for us to relive old memories and renew old friendships. The reunion
coincides with Gallaudet's Homecoming festivities as well.
We will host our banquet dinner on the 2nd floor of the Kellogg Conference Hotel in two rooms #5 A/B from 5:00 pm to 12:00 am on Saturday, October 25, 2014. We once again will present a slide show in
remembrance of our departed classmates.
On our class website, you can view many past and present pictures and find
additional reunion information. This website was developed by Brenda Sue
(Underwood) Pickering, Webmaster and Nancy (Lasky) Lundborg, Graphic
Designer. They have created a beautiful graphic image of the Class of 1974 web
banner. You will find eight clickable hotspots (links) that will give you the option
to get further information. Just position your mouse pointer over the links at the
bottom of the top web banner.
If you have not yet submitted your personal profile, please send in your biography information along with three photos to
Memory Disk Coordinator,
Vicki E. Lowen by October 11th. We
are sure you will cherish the Memory Disk which we aim to include 100% of our
classmates' profiles and photos.
We are excited since we are selling classic polo shirts with our inspirational
embroidery Class of 1974 logo sewn on the left chest. Please click on the Polo Shirt webpage for detailed information.
Before I close, I want to thank
the Class of 1974 Reunion Committee members who
have come to our meetings and are making this the two celebrations and our website
Welcome again! My best wishes for a successful and rewarding reunion!
